Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy today was voted the NFL's coach of the year by NFL Alumni, a group of former players.

McCarthy led the Packers to a 13-3 record and the NFC North title in his second season as Green Bay's coach.

He will receive the award from Hall of Fame coach Don Shula at a dinner in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Feb. 1, the eve of Super Bowl XLII. ...
