Williams cashes in with Browns while Packers pocket extra draft pick

Corey Williams' agent and the Cleveland Browns put the finishing touches on the defensive tackle's contract today that will net the Green Bay Packers a valuable second-round pick in this year's draft, No. 56 overall.

Phil Savage, the Browns' general manager, told reporters in Cleveland during a press conference this evening that Williams had just signed a six-year contract with the team. He didn't reveal any financial details, but a report by Profootballtalk.com said Williams' deal is worth about $38.6 million and includes $16.3 million in guaranteed money.
