Green Bay Packers vote in favor of NFL kickoff rule change

NEW ORLEANS - They play in a division chock fill of dangerous kick returners and don't have one themselves, so it should come as no surprise that the Green Bay Packers voted in favor of a revised version of the new kickoff rules.

The proposal passed 26-6, according to competition committee chairman Rick McKay, during a vote Tuesday shortly before the NFL annual meetings were adjourned.

The league's owners also passed a rule that will turn replay of all scoring plays over the instant replay official, meaning it's not long something the coaches can challenge. That passed by a 30-2 count and ...
