More from Woodson on 50 INTs and 11 TDs

Packers cornerback Charles Woodson caught the 50th interception of his career Sunday and had his 11th returned for a touchdown - 1 behind Rod Woodson for the NFL record of 12. Just 17 of those interceptions came during the first eight seasons of his career in Oakland. Thirty-three picks came during six years in Green Bay as has 9 of the 11 touchdowns. "Opportunity," Woodson said Sunday. "I played in Oakland and we played a lot of man-to-man Ė didnít get a lot of balls. Didnít get a lot of looks. Since coming here, it seems like every week there were some opportunities to make a play on the ball. "At that point, I began to expect it. Once you expect to get balls, you buckle down and just make plays. Ö Itís been a great bit of fun for me." Woodson explained why Rod Woodson's record means so much to him. "Itís a big deal," he said. "The name of the game is making plays. I feel like Iíve made a lot of plays in this league and thatís what you want to do. It shows what kind of player you are, what kind of athlete you are. Shows that you understand the game and shows people that you can catch. It means a great deal to me to get to 50, but Iím not down by far."
