For most of his 16 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, Brett Favre conducted a weekly press conference.

Never dull, the sessions were a revelation whenever Favre got rolling, which was often. On those occasions, he wouldn't hit the brakes until everyone's notebook was full.

As Favre got older, he became increasingly guarded and the sessions where his real thoughts came out grew more infrequent. Still, there were occasions when he just couldn't help himself. He'd start talking and there was no telling what would come out. It's just the way he's wired. ...
