First-half summary: Falcons 14, Packers 6

Nov. 6, 2013

The Falcons marched 60 yards in 10 plays on their second possession of the game, with Michael Turner scoring on a 1-yard touchdown plunge that put Atlanta ahead 14-0 with 12:26 remaining in the second quarter. The Packers responded by marching to the Atlanta 2-yard line, but back-to-back sacks forced them to settle for a 32-yard Mason Crosby field goal. Atlanta was forced to punt and gave the Packers excellent field position at the Falcons' 44. With 8 seconds left in the half Aaron Rodgers hit Jermichael Finley with what would have been a 17-yard touchdown pass. Except Finley inexplicably dropped the ball, and the Packers had to settle for a 35-yard Crosby field goal and 14-6 halftime deficit.
