Packers say they will not overlook winless Rams

Is there any chance the 5-0 Packers will look past the 0-4 St. Louis Rams Sunday at Lambeau Field? No way, if you believe what was being said in the Packers’ locker room this week. Guard Josh Sitton: “You have to make sure you don’t listen to outside crap. It’s an NFL football team. They’re a damn good football team, just like every team in the league, so you can’t really listen to any of that. When it comes to noon on Sunday, all that’s out the window anyway.” Tight end Tom Crabtree: “I think the biggest thing is approaching it like we have been since Week 1, coming to work doing our jobs, preparing the same way. I think that’s the biggest thing, don’t treat this game any different than last week or next week or whatever. It’s all got to look the same when you’re preparing, and then hopefully you get out there Sunday and all your preparation takes care of the rest.” Defensive lineman Ryan Pickett: “St Louis, there’s no need of them thinking they’re going to come in here and we’re going to overlook ‘em and they’re going to sneak up and have a great game. We’re not going to let down.” Guard T.J. Lang: “I think we’re over that whole deal (of overlooking teams). We’re treating ‘em just like any other week. Come Sunday we’re making sure we’re taking care of ourselves first and foremost. … We’re at a point now where not much has to be said. We know that no team can be overlooked.”
