The Green Bay Packers are 6-0 for the first time wince 1965 and talk of going undefeated grows with each win. Coach Mike McCarthy was asked about the possibility of 16-0 during his press conference Monday. “We’re trying to go undefeated in the second quarter of the season. So…,” McCarthy said. “There’s four quarters to every season. We’ve outlined these three games leading up to the bye as the second quarter. We have an opportunity to complete the second quarter – that was the message to the football team.” “Went through the positives that we’ve been able to build off each week in the first six games. And went through some of the things we have to improve on.” “This isn’t coach-speak. There are some things we need to improve on fundamentally. We need to tackle better. … the running backs and the run blocking unity, it’s not exactly the way it’s supposed to look right now. "There’s some things we’re doing extremely well and we’ll continue to build off it. That’s why we’re winning football games, but there’s a number of fundamental things we need to improve on.”
