Packers change their practice schedule

Nov. 6, 2013

In advance of next week's Monday night game against Minnesota -- on Nov. 14 at Lambeau Field -- Packers coach Mike McCarthy has altered the players' work schedule for the week after Sunday's game at San Diego. Based on the schedule released to the media today, it appears the players will be off on Monday. They will work on Tuesday, which is normally their day off. They then will have off on Wednesday, which is normally the first day of practice for the week. Instead, Thursday will start the work week and be like a regular-week Wednesday with Friday like a Thursday and Saturday like a Friday, which is normally the final practice of the week. Got that? It's not an unusual schedule for a Monday night game, but it's different from the normal routine.
