Neal expected to practice on Thursday

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said he expects defensive end Mike Neal to practice on Thursday. Neal, who was injured in training camp and  has been recovering from knee surgery, could give the Packers' pass rush a much needed boost. McCarthy said it was uncertain when Neal would be ready to play, but based on past history of players returning from knee surgery, it's not likely he would be ready for game action for a few weeks. In other injury news, McCarthy said linebacker Frank Zombo will miss the Minnesota game with a hamstring injury. Zombo hurt himself Sunday against the Chargers and has been battling injuries all season.
