Darren Perry played for former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky as a safety at Penn State from 1988 to 1992 and was as stunned as anyone when Sandusky was charged with 40 counts of child sex abuse last week.

The scandal has rocked the sports world and left former players such as Perry, who is the Packers' safeties coach, trying to come to terms with the unfathomable behavior of a once-revered coach, and the failure of school officials to report the sex crimes to police.
