Starks will play for Packers today vs. Lions

Running back James Starks will play today for the Packers in their Thanksgiving Day game against the Lions. Starks was not one of the Packers' seven inactive players, meaning he will fight through the knee injury he suffered on Sunday against Tampa Bay. Packers coach Mike McCarthy indicated earlier this week that if Starks was active, he would play a normal role in the offense. Here is the Packers' list of inactive players: CB Davon House LB Jamari Lattimore LB Frank Zombo G/T Ray Dominguez TE D.J. Williams LB Vic So'oto Normally the Packers have activated either So'oto or Lattimore. The fact that both are inactive is curious and leaves them a little light on depth at outside linebacker. Robert Francois, who has been inactive of late, is on the active list today and primarily plays inside linebacker.
