Tori Gurley decided his prospects were better staying where he is, so rather than take the Minnesota Vikings' offer for a spot on their 53-man roster this week, he accepted a pay raise to remain on the Green Bay Packers' practice squad the rest of the season.

Gurley, a rookie receiver from South Carolina, has been on the Packers' practice squad all season after making a good showing in training camp. He didn't make the Packers' 53-man roster because they had six receivers ahead of him, but this year appears likely to be Donald Driver's last with the Packers, so Gurley will have a much better chance ...
