TE coach Ben McAdoo talks Jermichael Finley

Packers tight ends coach Ben McAdoo said he's been as surprised as everyone else regarding Jermichael Finley's recent drop issues (three last week, arguably four). He talked Thursday about the kind of player Finley is, what happened and what they're doing to rectify the issue. "Heís got outstanding natural hands. Heís a plucker. You saw in the game him† make two spectacular catches. The corner route and the back-shoulder on the slot." "He got fooled on one. Which is no excuse. The one where Aaron broke out the pocket. He was a little early on the route, which made the angle a little awkward. Just was a little bit different. He was getting ready to adjust his route and then the ball was right there." "The stick route, he had proper fundamentals. Everything was right, he just didnít catch the ball." "We just keep working attacking the ball, proper fundamentals and things are going to take care of themselves." "Thatís the way we look at it and thatís the way we operate. We work forward not backwards. So any problems we see or anything we can correct, we correct and move forward with it. The biggest key is, if youíre not catching it as cleanly as youíd like, you just keep working using proper fundamentals. With the talent that he has, things will take care of themselves."
