Aaron Rodgers sure sounded like a guy who might not play much - if at all - in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Detroit Lions.

The Packers quarterback on Wednesday said he would like to play but wouldn't lobby coach Mike McCarthy, who said he has formulated a plan but hasn't yet told the players.

"I think any player would love to play and be on the field with your guys," Rodgers said. "It's not my decision, though. It's going to be Mike's decision, his final call ultimately. Whatever he decides, we'll go with." ...
