Staff has faith in Flynn

Backup quarterback Matt Flynn is expected to see significant playing time Sunday since the Packers have the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage locked up. Flynn has made just one start during his four-year career, though is predicted to receive major free-agent interest in the offseason. For now, he's a Packer and the coaching staff is confident in his ability however they choose to use him against the Lions. "Everybody whos in the building who coaches on offense that has been around for four years feels pretty good about the guy," offensive coordinator Joe Philbin said. "We like his leadership ability. We like his decision making. We think he knows the offense very well. We think he can get us out of a bad play. "If hes out there, whenever that is I think guys will be fine."
