The Packers and Giants share a rich playoff history. Their meeting on Sunday at Lambeau Field in the NFC divisional playoffs marks their seventh post-season meeting, with the Packers holding a 4-2 edge, including 4-1 in NFL championship games.  Here is a list of their six playoff games: Dec. 11, 1938 — Giants 23, Packers 17, NFL championship game, Polo Grounds in New York. Dec. 10, 1939 — Packers 27, Giants 0, NFL championship game, State Fair Park in Milwaukee. Dec. 17, 1944 — Packers 14, Giants 7, NFL championship game, Polo Grounds in New York. Dec. 31, 1961 — Packers 37, Giants 0, NFL championship game, City Stadium in Green Bay. Dec. 30, 1962 — Packers 16, Giants 7, NFL championship game, Yankee Stadium in New York. Jan. 20, 2008 — Giants 23, Packers 20 (OT), NFC championship game, Lambeau Field.  The Packers and Giants have won 20 combined NFL titles, with Green Bay ranking No. 1 with 13 titles and New York No. 3 with seven crowns. The Packers hold a 31-23-2 edge in the all-time series. The Packers have won six of the past eight meetings since 1995. Only once since 1993 have the NFC playoffs not included either the Packers or the Giants. That was in 1999. Since Mike McCarthy took over as head coach in 2006, the Packers have the best regular-season record in the NFC (63-33), while the Giants rank No. 3 (57-39). New Orleans is No. 2 (62-34).
