Francois only Packers player to miss practice

The Packers are in excellent health going into Sunday's NFC divisional-round playoff game against the New York Giants. Only one player, backup inside linebacker Robert Francois (hamstring), didn't participate during the portion of practice that was open to reporters today. Running back James Starks (ankle, knee) practiced for the second straight day, which is a sign he's in much better health than late in the regular season. Coach Mike McCarthy had the team in pads today -- the NFL's  collective bargaining agreement limits teams to one practice in pads per week during the playoffs.
