Collins won't string along Packers

Packers safety Nick Collins is scheduled to meet with his doctor in March to re-evaluate his condition after he underwent neck surgery in September to repair a herniated disk. He suffered the injury in Week 2 against the Carolina Panthers. Collins recently began working out and running, but still doesn't know if he will every play again. Collins said he will listen to whatever the doctors suggest in March. "I want to be able to make my decision before the draft so this organization can make a decision on who they can bring in and who they want to draft," Collins said. Collins last was evaluated in December and the doctor said he was on schedule. Sunday's loss to the Giants and a secondary that struggled all season will not impact his decision. "The decision is all based upon me," Collins said. "I know my team wants me out there with them. If the doctors want me to be out there and the good Lord wants me to be out there, I'll be out there. "At the end of the day I've got to do what's right for my family and my kids.  I want to be there for them once they leave to go off to college. I want to be there supporting them."
