Joe Philbin's departure for the Miami Dolphins could lead to more than one assignment change on the Green Bay Packers' coaching staff.

When the Dolphins hired Philbin as head coach last weekend, it created an opening on the Packers' staff at offensive coordinator, and all signs suggest that coach Mike McCarthy will promote quarterbacks coach Tom Clements to that role.

An NFL source said Monday that if Clements is promoted, a leading contender for quarterbacks coach would be Ben McAdoo, the Packers' tight ends coach. Such a move would echo the late 1990s, when former Packers coach Mike ...
