Wolf will present Holmgren at Packers Hall of Fame

When Mike Holmgren gets inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame this summer, his presenter will be former Packers General Manager Ron Wolf.    “When I asked him, he said “Don’t expect me to blow a lot of smoke your way,’” Holmgren joked during a teleconference this morning. “I said, I totally understand, and just keep it short.”    Holmgren said when he was interviewed for the Packers head coaching job he and Wolf hit it off well.    “As we worked together and continued to build the team up and so on, I realized how lucky I was,” said Holmgren of Wolf. “I can honestly say in the time we were together we never had a harsh word, we never had a real argument. We discussed a lot of things. I think we were respectful of one another. He was at his very best with me after we lost a tough game. And that’s hard to do.    “Early on I thought it was going to work and every day it just got better and better.” .
