Dolphins watching Packers free agents?

Could the Dolphins and new coach Joe Philbin be interested in the Packers top free agents? ESPN blogger James Walker thinks so. The Dolphins are in the market for a quarterback and Matt Flynn is a likely target with the established relationship with Philbin. That's if the Peyton Manning sweepstakes does not work out, of course. Walker notes that TE Jermichael Finley, RB Ryan Grant and C Scott Wells could also be in play. Realistically, Finley is a long-shot and is all but certain to be resigned or kept with the franchise tag. It's hard to see the Packers not retaining Wells, who earned his first Pro Bowl trip in 2011. There is no reliable backup at the position on the roster and both quarterback Aaron Rodgers and coach Mike McCarthy value his intelligence with the line calls. And with a team built to win now, does the organization want to risk the protection of Rodgers with a new center (and with the way GM Ted Thompson operates, most likely a rookie)? Grant is a possibility if the Dolphins are interested in a running back that will turn 30 during the season, suffered a season-ending ankle injury in 2010 and rushed for 559 yard in 2011.
