If Green Bay Packers General Manager Ted Thompson sticks to his long-held convictions, he faces a difficult decision on the future of wide receiver Donald Driver.

Thompson knows the NFL is a young man's game and that in most cases, the best way to improve the Packers is to replace older veterans with fresher talent.

There is no room for sentiment when constructing a championship contender, and thus Thompson cannot listen to the heart-felt feelings of fans, or give in to human nature and allow popular, hard-working players the chance to over-stay their welcome. ...
