Detroit Lions not viewing Green Bay Packers as measuring stick

No matter what the Lions do this off-season, they'll enter 2012 as the second-best team in the NFC North in most people's minds.

The Packers went 15-1 last year, beat the Lions twice and have the game's best quarterback in reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers. Still, Lions coach Jim Schwartz said at the NFL combine last month that he doesn't consider Green Bay a measuring stick for his team.
