Ahman Green, the Green Bay Packers all-time leading rusher, will be introduced as a new partner in the Green Bay Blizzard ownership group during a news conference tomorrow afternoon, according to a league source. Under first-year coach Robert Fuller, the Blizzard is off to a 2-1 start to its third season in the Indoor Football League. Green Bay is coming off an 11-3 season a year ago when it advanced to United Conference finals. Green played 12 seasons in the NFL, including two stints with the Packers (2000-06, 2009). He rushed for 9,205 yards on 2,056 carries during an NFL career that produced 74 touchdowns (60 rushing, 14 receiving). Green isnít the first former NFL player to be involved with the Blizzard. Prior to being sold in 2009, the teamís previous group consisted of former Packers linebacker Brian Noble, Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Bob Landsee and longtime NFL quarterback Dave Krieg. The Blizzard announced it would be adding a former Packers Pro Bowler to its ownership group Monday, but didnít specify who it would be. When contacted Tuesday, the organization had no comment. ó whodkiew@greenbaypressgazette.com and follow him on Twitter @WesHod
