NFL meetings day 2: Tollefson visit scheduled

PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Dave Tollefson is coming back to Green Bay -- for a visit. The free agent defensive end, originally a seventh-round pick of the Packers in 2006, will meet with the Packers on Thursday and Friday, according to an NFL source. Tollefson has played the last five seasons for the New York Giants. He spent his rookie season with the Packers, splitting time between the practice squad and injured reserve. With the Giants, he has 10 sacks in 81 regular-season games mostly in a backup role, but had five of those sacks last season. He played defensive end in the Giants' 4-3 scheme. At 6-foot-4 and 266 pounds, he's a bit of a 'tweener at defensive end/outside linebacker for the Packers' 3-4 defense. When the Packers drafted him, they played a 4-3 and considered Tollefson an end.
