Grant could be headed to another team

Running back Ryan Grant could have a new home in the NFL before the draft. Though his agent, Alan Herman, declined to name the team, he said: "There's some things actually going on with Ryan but not with Green Bay." Grant has played for the Packers since 2007. He split time last season with James Starks. A year after playing in only one game because of leg and ankle injuries, Grant averaged 4.2 yards per carry and rushed for 559 yards. He appeared to get stronger as the season went on, averaging 5.5 yards per carry over his final five games, including playoffs. It's unclear how interested -- if at all -- the Packers are in re-signing Grant, but it's starting to look like his best chance to play in 2012 might be with another team. "That's a strong possibility, more than a strong possibility," Herman said. "It could be as early as next week."
