Here's a breakdown of Tennessee-Chattanooga quarterback B.J. Coleman, selected in the seventh round (243rd pick overall) by the Green Bay Packers:

• Position: Quarterback

• Height: 6-3

• Weight: 222

• College: Tennessee-Chattanooga

• Highlights: A transfer from the University of Tennessee, Coleman started 29 games for UT-Chattanooga and has a career completion percentage of 57 percent. He threw for 6,892 yards, 52 touchdowns and 32 interceptions with seven rushing touchdowns. He handled pooch kicks with seven career attempts and three inside the 20-yard line. Named to the Football Championship Subdivision All-American Dream Team by The NFL Draft Report. Made only seven starts in 2011 because of an injured throwing shoulder.

• Strengths: Fiery playing temperament. Lives and breathes football. Is intelligent, prepares like a pro and has vocal, on-field leadership traits. Dissects defenses before the snap and knows where to go with the ball. Physically tough and can withstand punishment. Good arm strength and has touch to drop it in the bucket.

• Weaknesses: Too tight-shouldered. Average foot athlete and escapability. Does not always feel pressure. Forces some throws and needs to learn to add or subtract from his fastball. Batted throws could be an issue. Overly intense and known to wear out teammates with demands.

• Quotables: “I’m going to come in and work as hard as I possibly can, and I cannot wait to come in and learn as much as I can; it’s a dream come true.” — B.J. Coleman on playing for the Green Bay Packers.
