Packers come to terms with one of their picks

As we wrote earlier today, the Packers are expecting to have all eight of their rookie draft picks signed by the end of the week. They came to terms with the first one of them late this evening. The agent for fourth-round pick Jerron McMillian said he has agreed to a deal with the Packers. Agent Abu Toppin said "the deal isn't signed yet but we have agreed in principal to the terms of the contract." "Jerron should be under contract by the time the (rookie) minicamp begins," Toppin added. McMillian, a safety from Maine, is expected to sign when he arrives in Green Bay on Thursday, the day before the rookie orientation camp begins.
