Less than two hours before he hits the field for the Packers rookie orientation camp, second-round draft pick Casey Hayward signed his rookie contract. His Madison-based agent, Scott Smith, announced the signing via his Twitter account, @XAMSports. Hayward, a cornerback from Vanderbilt, became the fourth Packers draft pick to sign before the camp begins. Previously, they signed their other second-round pick Jerel Worthy, fourth-rounder Jerron McMillian and seventh-rounder Andrew Datko. According to a source, Hayward's four-year deal is worth $3.31 million with $1.42 in guaranteed money. That includes a signing bonus of $847,000. The Packers hit the field at 11:30 a.m. for the first of three days or rookie practices. There are still four unsigned draft picks: Nick Perry (first round), Mike Daniels (fourth round), Terrell Manning (fifth round) and B.J. Coleman (seventh round).
