Perry at left outside linebacker for second straight day

Linebacker Nick Perry played left outside linebacker for the second straight day in practice, although it’s still not clear if the Packers will keep Perry at that spot and move linebacker Clay Matthews to the right side. Either way, the first-round pick likely will start somewhere. “It doesn’t matter,” Perry said. “Last year, I played on the right side. The year before that, I played both sides. That’s really not an issue. I can play both sides. “I’m just ready to play.” Perry is not sure what the Packers’ plans are with him, one day after coach Mike McCarthy said playing Perry on the left side was a starting point. “They gave me a spot to play, and that’s where I’m going to play it,” Perry said. “Hopefully, it all goes well. I may play the left side, so we’ll see. “Worry about today, and focus on the rest later.” - svenci@greenbaypressgazette and follow him on Twitter @scottvenci
