The evidence has been presented, and now it’s up to Packers General Manager Ted Thompson and coach Mike McCarthy to determine which tryout players, if any, get signed to free agent contracts.    During a press conference this afternoon, McCarthy said he will evaluate Sunday’s third and final rookie orientation practice of the weekend. McCarthy said he spoke at length with Thompson about the Packers’ tryout players.    “Ted Thompson and I met extensively this morning on the prospects that we feel have the best opportunity to be on our 90(- man roster) so that’s really what we’re working through right now,” McCarthy said.    When asked how soon tryout players could be signed, McCarthy said: “I would say in the next day or so.”     A total of 29 tryout players practiced this weekend. There are a total of 86 players listed on the Packers’ roster, meaning they have room for four more players under the NFL’s new 90-man offseason roster rule.
