Packers sign 5 tryout players, reach roster limit

Five tryout players that participated in the Green Bay Packers' rookie orientation camp over the weekend signed Monday, the team announced, but Green Bay Southwest product Drew Vanderlin wasn't one of them.

The Packers signed tackle Shea Allard of Delaware, receivers Jarrett Boykin of Virginia Tech and Curenski Gilleylen of Nebraska, guard Grant Cook of Arkansas and cornerback Otis Merrill of Illinois State.

The Packers also cut tackle Chris Campbell, which leaves them at the NFL's 90-man roster limit. Campbell spent time on the Packers' practice squad in 2010 and 2011. He was ...
