Packers offseason highlights

The Packers don’t open training camp for 10 weeks, and their first regular-season game is nearly four months from now, but there remains a full schedule of upcoming Packers-related events.

 

Here are some of the highlights of the Packers’ offseason:

 

May 16-19 — Packers Tailgate Tour, with stops in Madison (today), Kenosha (Thursday), Cedarburg-Grafton (Friday) and Sturgeon Bay (Saturday).

 

May 22 — Packers OTA practice, open to public (weather permitting) at Ray Nitschke Field, 11:30 a.m.

 

May 30 — Packers open OTA practice, 11:30 a.m., Nitschke Field.

 

June 3 — Donald Driver Charity Softball Game (Fox Cities Stadium, Grand Chute)

 

June 4 — Mike McCarthy Celebrity Open golf tournament to support cystic fibrosis research (Green Bay Country Club).

 

June 5 — Packers open OTA practice, 11:30 a.m., Nitschke Field.

 

June 9 — Jerry Parins Cruise for Cancer motorcycle ride.

 

June 12-14 — Packers mandatory minicamp, open to public. Schedule TBA.

 

June 13 — Edgar Bennett Celebrity Bowl-A-Thon (Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley).

 

July 21 — Packers Hall of Fame Induction Banquet (Lambeau Field Atrium).

 

July 24 — Packers Shareholders Meeting (Lambeau Field).

 

July 25 — Players report for physicals.

 

July 26 — First training camp practice, Nitschke Field. Schedule TBA.

 

Aug. 3 — Packers Family Night (Lambeau Field).

 

Aug. 9 — First preseason game, at San Diego.

 

Aug. 16 — First home preseason game, vs. Cleveland.

 

Sept. 9 — Regular-season opener, vs. San Francisco.
