The Packers' regular-season opener is 108 days away, but some predictions have already come out regarding their projected record in 2012. According to this USA Today item, which is based on information from a gaming website, the Packers and Patriots are projected to post the best records in the NFL this coming season with 12 wins apiece.  The defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants are projected at 9.5 wins. As for the other teams in the NFC North, the Lions come in at 9.5 wins, the Bears 8.5 and the Vikings 6. Only three teams have a worse projection than Minnesota: Indianapolis, Jacksonville and Cleveland are all projected for 5.5 wins.
