The Packers have added another player to the mix at safety. They claimed Micah Pellerin off waivers today from the Indianapolis Colts. The rookie had signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Hampton University last month. To make room for Pellerin, the Packers waived another undrafted rookie -- receiver Marcus Rivers from the University at Buffalo. The 6-foot, 195-pound Pellerin played three seasons at Hampton after he transferred from Southern Mississippi. The Packers have a starting safety spot to fill after they released Nick Collins earlier this offseason. Second-year pro M.D. Jennings has been working with the starters so far during OTAs. Charlie Peprah, who started in place of Collins last season, has been held out of OTAs while recovering from knee surgery.
