Saints' players reportedly backing Hargrove's video defense

So maybe it wasn't Anthony Hargrove calling for "his money." At least, that's the newest word out of the New Orleans Saints' camp. The ongoing Saints’ bounty scandal appears to have taken yet another turn, along with current Green Bay Packers defensive lineman's role in it. According to a report from CBSSports.com, “almost the entire” Saints’ roster doesn’t believe the voice on the now-infamous Hargrove video is actually Hargrove, who has maintained his innocence despite being linked to uttering the “give me my money" line on the sidelines after a big hit on Brett Favre during the 2009 NFC Championship match. The same report said most of the Saints know the identity of the individual who said the phrase with some saying they are “close to” having that player come forward. Hargrove signed with the Packers on March 30. He played with the Saints from 2009-10 and is currently appealing an eight-game suspension. Packers reporter Rob Demvosky wrote a blog post last week on the NFL's response to Hargrove's claim. You can read the entire CBS Sports post here
