Much like Brett Favre before him, Aaron Rodgers has benefited from a tight relationship with a respected quarterbacks coach during his formative years in the NFL.

Favre waxed on about Steve Mariucci's crucial role as a teacher and confidante well after Mariucci's last season with the Packers, which also was when Favre won his first league MVP, in 1995.

Similarly, Rodgers the last four years constantly dropped Tom Clements' name unsolicited into interviews and liberally credits his quarterbacks coach for helping him grow from a new starter into a premier player. ...
