The Packers confirmed in a written release that safety Charlie Peprah' was released and also announced they replaced one undrafted rookie offensive lineman with another on their roster. The team released Grant Cook, a guard from Arkansas they'd signed after the draft, and signed Greg Van Roten, a guard from the University of Pennsylvania. Van Roten (6-feet-3, 303 pounds) went to the San Diego Chargers' rookie minicamp as a tryout player this offseason but was not offered a contract. He was a three-year starter at Penn. Peprah started 26 of 67 games in two stints with the Packers, from 2006-08 and 2010-11.
