The Green Bay Packers have a lot to fix and a short time to do it.

Sunday's season opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers exposed two major weaknesses: the running game and communication problems in the secondary.

Then again, those problems aren't exactly new. The Packers signed Cedric Benson off the street in the middle of training camp to try to boost their running game, and they've had issues in the defensive backfield going back to last season. If the preseason and training camp couldn't solve the problems, then it might be asking a lot to get them fixed on a short week with the Chicago Bears ...
