Tuesday practice report: No Jennings

Nov. 6, 2013

Greg Jennings couldn’t finish Sunday’s game against San Francisco because of a groin injury and two days before the quick turnaround game against the Chicago Bears, the Packers’ top receiver wasn’t on the practice field. The injury was severe enough for Jennings to pull himself out during the final series against the 49ers. Jennings declined to talk to reporters yesterday, so it’s unclear how concerned he was about his status for Thursday’s game against the Bears. The Packers will hold only two practices — today and tomorrow — in preparation for the game. Jennings was one of three Packers players who didn’t practice today. The others: running back James Starks (toe) and linebacker Terrell Manning (concussion). Defensive end C.J. Wilson, who couldn’t finish the 49ers game because of a groin injury, was back at practice today. Cornerback Davon House (shoulder), who hasn't played since the Aug. 9 preseason opener at San Diego, looked limited once again. The Packers will file their full practice report in about an hour, when coach Mike McCarthy also will take questions.
