Cutler challenges Packers corners

If the Packers cornerbacks want to get physical with Chicago’s receivers on Thursday night at Lambeau Field, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler issued a warning. “Good luck,” Cutler told reporters in Chicago. “We’ve got some dudes who will get up in their face. Even our speed guys are going to get around them and our big guys are going to throw and go. We invite press coverage. We invite man. If we get in that type of game, our guys outside have to make some plays for us.” The Bears revamped their receiving corps in the offseason, trading for Brandon Marshall and drafting Ashlon Jeffrey in the second round. Both have good size, Marshall at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds and Jeffrey at 6-3 and 216, and play physical. When told of Cutler’s comment, Packers cornerback Tramon Williams said: “There’s a lot of grabbing and holding going on out there and pushing around. If the referees see that, won’t nobody be getting open.”
