McCarthy post-press conference wrap-up

Here are some highlights from coach Mike McCarthy's press conference late Friday afternoon, the day after the Packers defeated the Bears 23-10. **McCarthy didn't release an injury report from Thursday night's win over Chicago because he doesn't have to until next week. He said he expects receiver Greg Jennings (groin) and defensive lineman C.J. Wilson (groin) to play in a week from Monday at Seattle after sitting out Thursday night. **McCarthy said the players will be off over the weekend and won't practice until Tuesday in preparation for playing the Seahawks the following Monday. To make it more like a normal week, the players will get the day off Wednesday, then have the usual three days of practice (Thursday through Saturday) before the Monday night game. **McCarthy said that on quarterback Aaron Rodgers' interception in the fourth quarter against the Bears, receiver James Jones didn't make the correct route adjustment. Rodgers had to throw the ball before Jones made his break, so the play resulted in an interception. McCarthy said he regretted the route he called on the play because he expected the Bears to play more of a gambling coverage scheme behind by 20 points that late in the game. "I thought maybe they’d start challenging us, maybe try to take away their quick throws," McCarthy said.
