It was the middle of the 2009 season, and the Green Bay Packers were giving up sacks at an alarming rate - 37 of them by the midway point of the year.

Coach Mike McCarthy's team was 4-4, and he knew if he didn't fix the sack problem, his quarterback might not make it through the season.
