Twenty years ago, the Green Bay Packers went into Houston as underdogs against a formidable opponent in a nationally televised Sunday night game. They'll do so again this Sunday night.

In 1992, the Houston Oilers were one of the NFL's toughest teams, playing in one of its toughest places. Houston was on its way to a sixth straight playoff berth and had won 35 of its last 45 games at the Astrodome.

The Oilers didn't think much of the Packers. Defensive lineman Ray Childress was quoted as saying the Packers had one good receiver (Sterling Sharpe), a hot quarterback (Brett Favre) and not much else. ...
