Raji won't play tonight but Finley might

Oct. 14, 2012

HOUSTON -- The Packers had planned to take the decisions on whether to play injured nose tackle B.J. Raji (ankle) and tight end Jermichael Finley (shoulder) right up until inactives have to be turned in 90 minutes prior to kickoff tonight against the Texans

But apparently Raji's injury ankle didn't show enough progress to wait that long.

According to a team source, they've already decided that he won't play tonight against the Texans.

That's not a surprise considering a week ago, Raji could barely walk out of the locker room at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis without a significant limp. Raji didn't practice at all this week.

However, they haven't yet ruled out Finley, who was able to return to practice on a limited basis on Friday.
