Did Aaron Rodgers turn in best game vs. Texans?

Oct. 16, 2012

When I asked offensive coordinator Tom Clements on Monday if has ever seen Aaron Rodgers play better than he did on Sunday night against the Texans, he replied: “He’s played a lot of great games. But against a very good opponent, an undefeated team, I don’t know if I’ve seen him play better. The playoff game in Atlanta was pretty special, too. He had an outstanding game.”

Rodgers threw for a career high and franchise-tying six touchdown passes against the Texans in the Packers’ runaway 42-24 victory at Reliant Stadium. He completed 24 of 37 passes for 338 yards and posted a 133.8 passer rating.
Rodgers’ previous high touchdown total was five in a victory over the Chicago Bears last Christmas.
But in terms of single-game passer rating, Sunday’s performance ranks only No. 11 on his list of all-time best games. Here’s a look at Rodgers’ top-10 passer rating games. (The Packers won all of them).

The compensation of public-sector employees has dominated much of Wisconsin’s political and economic discussion during the past few years. But what’s been lacking in that discussion is a way to compare what those employees earn in various places, in various circumstances. “What We Pay: Your tax dollars and the salaries they support” attempts to give you a way to make those comparisons, so that you can be better informed about how your taxes are used.
