Division 2 football: Ground game lifts Pulaski to victory over De Pere

Playing its fourth consecutive must-win game, Pulaski ran for its life Friday night. The Red Raiders slipped, slogged and slid to a 35-22 win over De Pere in a WIAA Division 2 first-round playoff game at the quagmire that was Dad Braisher Field.

In grabbing yards in bunches, Pulaski took control of the clock and the game in the second quarter. The Red Raiders allowed the Redbirds precious few opportunities as they scored 22 unanswered points to go up 35-14 midway through the final period.
