Seeds and style points don't matter this time of year.

The Green Bay Southwest football team found that out in the process of holding on to defeat No. 8 Oshkosh North 14-7 in a WIAA Division 2 first-round game at Dahlin Family Stadium on Saturday.

"That's not an eighth-seeded team," Southwest coach Bryce Paup said. "They play in a tough conference and have some really good players. When I watched film it was a little nerve-racking, so I knew what to expect from them." ...
