The Green Bay Packersí defense has reportedly lost its leader for at least the next six weeks.

According to a report form Fox Sportsí Jay Glazer, Packers defensive back and eight-time Pro Bowler Charles Woodson will be sidelined until at least December due to a broken collarbone.

Woodson had five tackles during Sundayís 30-20 win over the St. Louis Rams, but appeared to be in some pain after making a tackle following a pass to Ramsí Brandon Gibson with 2 minutes, 44 seconds left.

The following play, Woodson appeared to be holding his left shoulder where he had previously suffered a broken collarbone two years ago during Super Bowl XLV. Woodson was not on the field during the final defensive series.

The Packers have already lost linebackers Desmond Bishop and D.J. Smith for the season with linebacker Nick Perry, cornerback Sam Shields and defensive tackle B.J. Raji also out with injuries.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy speaks at 3 p.m. where we should know more.
